Engineering Design: Research on Implementation of STEM Project-based Learning Activity

STEM教学实践以项目式学习为主线,其强调严谨的科学、数学知识的应用,技术的支持及与工程设计过程的结合,工程设计活动过程为STEM项目式学习活动提供了一套灵活的问题解决方案流程。本文针对培生STEM项目典型案例进行分析,基于活动理论框架,分别从活动主题、活动目标、活动过程、活动工具、活动评价等方面进行研究,指出项目式学习是STEM教学实践中的主要活动方式。

STEM teaching based on the project-based learning puts emphases on the application of the rigorous science and mathematics knowledge,on the support of technology,and on the engineering design process.The process of the engineering design provides a set of flexible problemsolving planning procedures for the STEM project-based learning activities.Based on the activity theory framework,this paper analyzes the typical cases of the Pearson STEM project.It studies the activity from five aspects,i.e.activity themes,activity goals,activity processes,activity tools and activity evaluation.In addition,it points out that the project-based learning is the main activity mode in the STEM teaching practice.
