高管特征与企业战略

Characteristics of top management teams and corporate competitive strategy

高管是企业经营决策的制定者,是企业研究的重要一环,根据哈姆布里克和梅森的高层梯队理论,企业高管的特征会影响企业经营绩效和企业战略选择。文章通过对A股制造业2012～2015年的数据进行实证分析,证明高管特征会影响企业战略,高管年龄、高管学历、高管男性比例越高以及持股高管比例越高的企业,越倾向于实施差异化战略,反之,倾向于实施成本领先战略。

Top managers are business decision-makers and also an important target for corporate research.According to Hambrick and Mason's upper-echelon theory,the characteristics of corporate executives will affect business performance and corporate strategic choices.This paper empirically analyzes the data of A-share manufacturing industry from 2012 to 2015,and proves that the characteristics of executives such as their age and education backgrounds as well as the male ratio and the share-holder ratio will affect corporate strategies.The higher they are,the more efficient implementation of a differentiation strategy,or the lower they are,the more implementation of a cost leadership strategy.
