Thoughts on How to Advance the Alumni Donation in Local Undergraduate Universities Under the Background of "Double First-Class"

校友捐赠是高等学校办学经费的有力补充,是国内外主流大学排行榜的重要指标,更是高校校园文化、社会影响力以及综合实力的重要体现。我国高等院校办学经费长期依赖于财政拨款和事业收入。目前,校友捐赠已在国内一流高校渐成气候,并被纳入"双一流"建设院校遴选的评价体系。随着"双一流"建设的落地生根,地方普通本科院校就面临着财政拨款和校友捐赠资金不足的双重短板。只有认识到"双一流"背景下校友捐赠工作的紧迫性、难点,厘清推进思路,才能帮助地方普通本科院校争取更多的校友捐赠资金支持,实现分类发展、跨越发展。

Alumni donation is a powerful supplement to financial resources for universities. Furthermore,it is a key indicator of main World University Rankings for it displays their campus culture,social influence and all-round strength. Although financial allocations and income from undertakings are the most important funds support of Chinese universities for a long time,nowadays,alumni donation has gradually become prosperous and has been used as the indicator of "Double First-Class" & local high level universities strategic plans. Therefore,local undergraduate universities will face more difficulties, for example, funds-shortage, not only on financial support, but also on alumni donations. This paper focuses on the urgency,difficulties and methods on how to advance the alumni donation in local undergraduate universities under the background of "Double First-rate" strategic plans.
