Role of Circular RNAs in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

环状RNAs(circRNAs)是一类新型的内源性非编码RNAs(ncRNAs),大量存在于真核细胞转录组中,具有多种生物学功能。诸多研究表明,circRNAs广泛参与人类疾病的发生、发展,在多种癌症的发病机制中发挥重要作用,可作为潜在的疾病诊断和预测生物学标志物,为癌症的诊断和靶向治疗提供新思路。本文就circRNAs在肝细胞癌(HCC)中的作用作一综述。

Circular RNAs(circRNAs) is a group of novel types of endogenous non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs),which are abundant in eukaryotic transcriptomes and have a variety of biological functions. Numerous studies showed that circRNAs participate extensively in the development of human diseases and play important roles in the pathogenesis of various cancers. It might be served as potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and prediction of diseases and providing new insights for the diagnosis and targeting therapy of cancers. This article reviewed the role of circ RNAs in hepatocellular carcinoma HCC.
