人民币国际化对我国沿海沿边地区对外贸易影响研究

Impacts of RMB internationalization on China's foreign trade:A comparative case study of the coastal areas of eastern China and the border areas of western China

我国东部沿海地区与西部沿边地区对外贸易发展不平衡问题显著。在人民币国际化的进程中,两地区均具有重要的战略地位,且货币国际化对其对外贸易发展也有着直接影响。运用VAR模型、脉冲响应、方差分解实证人民币国际化与东部沿海地区、西部沿边地区对外贸易发展的关系,为人民币国际化的实现路径及我国内部区域对外经济不平衡问题提供新的视角。结论显示:东部沿海地区与人民币国际化有长期均衡关系,而西部沿边地区对外贸易与之没有发现长期均衡关系;并且,人民币国际化对东部沿海地区对外贸易的促进作用比对西部地区更加显著,可能成为加大我国东西部对外贸易差距的潜在因素。西部沿边地区要与东部沿海地区均衡共享货币国际化带来的收益,应尽快缩小发展生产力、优化经济结构、发展金融市场、缩小对外开放等方面的差距。

There is a significant imbalance in the development of foreign trade between the coastal areas of eastern China and the border areas of western China.In the process of RMB internationalization,the two regions all play an important strategic role,and currency internationalization also has a direct impact on the development of its foreign trade.The paper compares the relationship between RMB internationalization and the development of foreign trade in the coastal areas of eastern China and the border areas of western China,and provides a new perspective for the realization of RMB internationalization and the solution to the imbalance of China’s regional economy.It concludes that RMB internationalization has a long-term and greater impact on the foreign trade of the coastal areas of eastern China,which may become a potential factor for the further imbalance of the foreign trade between the coastal areas of eastern China and the border areas of western China.The future balanced development benefiting from RMB internationalization relies on a better productivity,a better economic structure,a better financial market and a better implementation of the opening-up policy.
