The film"Love Education",which was released in November 2017,is the latest film work by female director Sylvia Chang.As a film of females,it explores female spiritual world and shows its concern and thinking on the female subject consciousness.Based on the analysis of the film"Love Education",this paper discusses the expression of feminism in the film by feminist film theory and film criticism.The article is divided into three parts:self-taming--the plight of women under the gaze of men,rethinking--mutual recognition of identity and destiny and breaking the shackles--the awakening and reinvention of the female consciousness.From the growth track of three generations of women in the film,we can find the exhibition of female plight and the progress of female consciousness under the ethical narration of"Love Education".On the whole,the film adopts the calm and delicate film language,and shows the perplexity and growth of women in the face of marriage,family and love in a gentle and introverted way.
