西堡沙氏土司史略

Brief history of Xipu Shashi Tu-si

明初废习安州,改西堡寨为西堡长官司,司分正、副,正长官沙氏与副长官温氏各领其属寨。表面上,沙氏正司历明而清,传袭至康熙五十四年(1715年)被降为外委土舍。实际上,沙氏在弘治八年(1495年)几至灭族。沙氏土司的历史,表明土、流之间的界限和冲突长期存在,而土司内部势力之间的斗争同样激烈。研究黔中屯堡之历史,土司及卫所与土司之互动关系亦当留意。

In the early Ming Dynasty,Xi’an was abolished and Xipu Village was changed intoXipu Zhang guan si.The Chief Justice Sha Shi and Vice Chief Wen Shi each led the case.On the surface,Sha Shizheng was descended from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty,and was descended to the Foreign Office in the fifty fourth year of Kangxi (1715).In fact,the Sha clan almost exterminated in Hongzhi eight years (1495).The history of Sha Chieftain shows that the boundaries and conflicts between Tu and Liu exist for a long time,while the struggle between the internal forces of Tu Chieftain is also fierce.In the study of the history of Tunpu in central Guizhou,we should also pay attention to the interaction between Tusi and Wei and Tu si.
