贵阳文通书局对贵州文化现代性生成的影响

On Guiyang Wentong Publishing House's influence of Guizhou's cultural modernity

1908年,贵州著名绅商华之鸿创办了贵州近代历史上第一个民营出版企业——贵阳文通书局。作为近代贵州最大的编辑、印刷、发行机构,文通书局率先将现代工业引进贵州,是贵州最早引进和使用机器生产的工厂。从贵阳文通书局经营状况来看,它一直致力于教材、教辅等教育类图书的出版,一定程度上推动了近代贵州教育的发展。抗日战争期间,文通书局发展为全国七大书局之一,出版的书刊,成为贵州传播新知识、新文化、新思想的重要阵地。在文通书局44年的光辉历程中,文通书局为贵州工业、出版业、教育业及思想文化的发展做出了重要贡献,对贵州文化现代性生成产生了巨大影响。

Guiyang Wentong Publishing House,the first private press in Guizhou’s history,was established by Hua Zhihong in 1908.As the largest press in modern Guizhou,Wentong took the lead in introducing modern industry into Guizhou and was the first plant in Guizhou to import and use modern machines.In addition,Wentong had been devoted to the publication of education books such as textbooks and teaching AIDS,which promoted the development of education in modern Guizhou to some extent.During the Anti Japanese War,Wentong developed into one of the seven national presses in China.Through its books and periodicals,it spread new knowledge,new culture and new thoughts to the people of Guizhou,making the popularization of culture a trend in modern Guizhou.In short,in its 44 years’ glorious history,Wentong made important contributions to the development of Guizhou’s industry,publishing industry,education and ideological culture,and had a great influence on the formation of Guizhou cultural modernity.
