On Xu Beihong's First Trip in Guangxi: The Eighth Paper of the Research Series of Guilin Cultural City in the Anti-Japanese War

1935年,徐悲鸿开始了首次广西之行。在广西,他领略了久已向往的桂林山水,感受了广西明耻教战、勤劳从政、奋发向上、清正廉洁的社会风气,产生了融入广西这个群体的愿望。徐悲鸿对广西精神风尚和社会风气的高度认同,并在广西民众的身上看到了民族的希望和国家的前途。

Xu Beihong started his first trip in Guangxi in 1935.In this trip,he enjoyed himself in the beautiful natural landscape that he had longed for a long time.At the same time,he understood some features of Guangxi society,such as diligence.the tradition to train people to known what is shameful and therefore fight bravely on the battlefield,active attitudes towards life.honesty and uprightness and so on.Therefore Xu Beihong produced the desire to integrate into the local social life.Xu Beihong accepted the spiritual life and social custom.He found the hope of the nation and the future of the country from Guangxi People.
