作为高校人文教育的一个重要环节,美国文学课程对培养具有国际视野和跨文化交际能力的英语人才,提高学生的思辨能力、创新能力、文学鉴赏能力及人文素养有十分重要的作用。在新时代视域下,高校英语专业美国文学课程改革应着重加强对那些与中国新时代精神相契合的优秀美国文学作品及文学批评理论的挖掘与研究,为中国新时代背景下的生态文明建设做出应有的贡献。

As a significant part of humanistic college education,the course of American Literature plays a critically important role in cultivating students’international awareness and cross-cultural communication abilities.In line with the spirit of the new era,reforms on the course of American Literature should focus on the excavation of valuable American literary works and theories so as to enhance the construction of ecological civilization in China.
