摘要
通过调查分析483名大学生英语写作动机和写作努力水平,探究英语写作动机对写作努力产生影响的复杂性。通过探索性分析发现英语写作动机对写作努力的影响;利用AMOS分析软件建立写作动机影响写作努力的概念模型,并探究写作动机各维度对努力程度的影响。研究发现,不同写作动机对于写作努力影响不同:写作效能感正影响主动性,但是负影响持续性;写作体验既影响主动性也影响持续性;写作价值对写作努力有长期影响;写作目的和写作兴趣对写作努力产生短期影响,但是,有利于改善学习者对于外语写作的态度。
Based on the survey and analysis of the status quo of the learning of English writing of 483 Chinese college students, this paper has dealt with the complex relations between writing motivation and the students' efforts in English writing. The exploratory factor analysis has been used to identify the component elements of the motivation construct and writing effort construct; thereafter, by using the AMOS the SEM method was employed to find the effect of the different elementary sub-motivations upon students' efforts in writing. It has been found that different motivations have different effects upon students' efforts in writing. Firsdy, writing efficacy has positive effect upon the initiative, while negative effect upon the stamina; secondly, writing experience has positive effects upon both the initiative and stamina ; thirdly, the writing value has the long-term effect upon the writing effort in the initiative and stamina dimensions; finally, the writing aim and the writing interest both have short-term and immediate influence upon the writing effort though conducive to improving learners' attitude toward writing.
