《西游记》表面上是一部神魔小说,实则是一部惩恶扬善的人间小说。而对于善与恶的判定,需要从诸多方面去分析论证。《西游记》中的善恶标准主要从普通百姓、统治者和作者三个角度表现出来,受到明代社会文化和作者佛道思想的影响,能够给予后人重要启示:判定何为善,何为恶,不能仅从表面而论,还要深究其前因后果及本心之所向。

Journey to the West on the surface is a mythic story,but actually it is a human novel that punishes evil and promotes good.As for the determination of good and evil,we need to analyze and study from many aspects.The standards of good and evil in Journey to the West are shown mainly from three angles:the general public,the ruler and the author.Influenced by the social culture of the Ming Dynasty,and the author’s thoughts of Buddhism and Taoism,this can give people important enlightenment:judging what is good and what is evil can not only be viewed from the surface,but also from the cause and effect,as well as the guidance of one’s own heart.
