Oracle database is an excellent relational database product. It is widely used in various fields because of its characteristics of stable performance, powerful function and good portability. The daily maintenance of database is an important part of the research of database. The daily maintenance work of Oracle database is discussed from six aspects, i.e., database running state inspection, real-time performance monitoring, space usage, log file checking, user and authority supervision and backup and recovery management. The practice demonstration is carried out on the Oracle database under the Linux environment to ensure the efficient operation of the database system.
