摘要
随着多媒体和网络的迅速发展,人们对图像质量和图像功能的要求越来越高,当前的JPEG标准显得有些不足,因此ISO提出了一个新的JPEG2000标准。论文的主要工作是JPEG2000图像压缩标准的编解码系统的设计。现将主要内容归纳如下:1)提升小波变换。JPEG2000与JPEG最大的不同在于它放弃了JPEG所采用的以离散余弦变换为主的区块编码方式,转而采用以小波变换为主的多解析编码方式,在论文中采用提升小波变换方法,其优点在于速度快,运算复杂度低,所需存储空间少。2)嵌入式码块编码。在JPEG2000中,图像经过量化后,每个子带被划分成码块单元,对每个码块进行独立的嵌入式位平面算术熵编码。在论文中采用自适应二进制算术编解码。3)感兴趣区域(ROI)简介。论文最后简单介绍ROI掩模(MASK)的生成及ROI技术在JPEG2000中的应用。
With the rapid development of internet and multimedia technologies,the quality and function of image is better and better.At the present,the standard of JPEG can not satisfy our demand,So ISO developes a new standard of JPEG2000.A coder system of JPEG2000 image compression standard is mainly designed in this thesis.The main results are outlined as following:1)lift wavelet transform.The most difference between JPEG2000&JPEG is that JPEG2000 gives in block coding major for DCT in JPEG but adopts the multiresolution-based coding major for DWT.Lift wavelet transform is adopted in this thesis.It has fast velocity,less complexity of compute and need less storage.2)Embedded block coding.Self-adapting binary arithmetic coding is adopted in this thesis in JPEG2000.3)Region of Interest.Introduction of how to create the ROI mask the application of ROI technology in JPEG2000 is briefed.
