Western Liaoning was the region with the least precipitation in Liaoning Province, the frequent occurrence of drought had seriously affected people’s normal production and life. By analyzing the related research on precipitation change characteristics of various meteorological experts and scholars, including the research status of western Liaoning region, it was concluded that the research direction of the precipitation change law in western Liaoning was obtained, which had the scientific value.
