This article analyzes the development opportunities for the construction of university library brought by engineering education professional certification from the aspects of improving people's cognition of library function,improving the conditions of library building,promoting the work of education in information literacy and improving quality of the overall team.It also analyzes the two major challenges for quality of literature resources and talent team brought by professional certification.Meanwhile,it is emphasized that correct recognition and understanding of professional certification is the impetus to promote the rapid,stable and healthy development of university library.
