摘要
本文利用中国21个制造业行业2006~2015年的统计数据,考察区域互动中的学习和竞争机制如何影响制造业集聚改善行业全要素生产率的作用。研究结果显示,制造业集聚、区域互动与全要素生产率之间均存在显著的非线性关系,区域互动减弱制造业集聚效应;区域互动减缓产业集聚在技术进步中的效果,但对集聚改善技术效率具有促进作用;竞争机制增进制造业集聚效应,提升行业效率;学习机制中的科研人员流动提升行业效率,而研发经费强度和研发效率减缓效率改进。
Using the data pertaining to 21 manufacturing industries over the period 2006~2015, this paper aims to empirically investigate the mechanisms of regional interactions including competition and learning that improve the effect of manufacturing agglomeration on total factor productivity. The findings highlight that there is a significant non-linear relationship between manufacturing agglomeration, regional interaction and total factor productivity. Regional interaction weakens the role of manufacturing agglomeration and has a negative impact on technological progress, but it improves technical efficiency. The result of the research also shows that the competition mechanism can improve the effect of manufacturing agglomeration. The researcher turnover rate in the learning mechanism can increase the industry efficiency, while R&D funding intensity and R&D efficiency may slow down efficiency improvements.
