嘉靖《寻甸府志》内容及体例探析

A Study of the Contents and Style of the Xundian Fu Chronicles of the Jiajing Years

嘉靖《寻甸府志》是明代云南现存的五部府州志之一,也是寻甸现存最早的一部志书。该志书资料来源广泛,涉及民族、民生内容较多,且编排合理,繁简适中。志书以平分列目体将全书分为18个门类,采用了志、传、图、录的体裁形式记录内容,一定程度上也做到了后世提倡的简、严、核、雅的文体要求。志书内容及体例与内地汉方志的一致性,体现出云南汉文化的整体性,凸显出边陲少数民族地区国家认同感和凝聚力的增强。

Xundian Fu Chronicles of the Jiajing Years is one of the five existing local Fu records in Yunnan from the Ming dynasty, and also the earliest one in Xundian. The book drew on a wide range of sources, covers many ethnic groups, and devotes a good portion of the book to people’s livelihood. The set up is sensible and properly balanced between being miscellaneous and brief. The directory lists 18 parallel categories. Annals, biographies, charts, and lists are all used. The stylistic standards of simplicity, strictness, accurateness, and elegance established in later periods for chronicles are well matched to a certain degree. The consistency of the work in content and style with central China’s chronicles reflects the integrity of the Han culture in Yunnan, and reveals an enhanced national identity and cohesion in the border ethnic minority areas.
