近年来,随着法治发展的不断深入,人民陪审员制度在不断面临着改革与发展,全国人大及其常委会以及最高人民法院也在积极地推动该制度有关立法、司法以及实践层面的改革。人民陪审员制度在实践中存在着一些不足与缺陷,完善该制度有利于发挥人民群众在司法审判中的作用,实现司法公正。

The people’s jury system has faced the need of reform and development with the further development of federal society in recent years.The reform of people’s jury system about legislation,judicial and practice has also been promoted by NPC Standing Committee and Supreme People’s Court.The system of people’s assessors has some deficiencies and defects in practice.Perfecting this system is beneficial to give play to the people’s role in the judicial trial and realize the judicial justice.
