摘要
本文通过调查问卷和数据分析的实证研究方法探究海军院校本科学员英语学习动机类型。问卷数据显示海军院校学员较强的英语学习动机类型为海军相关动机、学习成绩和信息媒介;处于中间的英语学习动机类型为社会责任、个人发展和内在兴趣;较弱的英语学习动机类型为网络使用、学习情境和出国。基于研究结果,研究者针对海军院校本科大学英语教学提出了相关的建议:1.结合海军职业发展需求;2.培养文化性动机,发展长期工具型动机;3.注重英语教员专业发展。
This paper,by means of questionnaires and data analysis,aims to research on the English language learning motivation types of PLA naval military undergraduate cadets.The data show that the strongest motivation types of the cadets include navy-related motivation,immediate achievement,and information medium;the modest motivation types are social responsibility,individual development and intrinsic interest;the weakest motivation types are internet usage,learning situation and going abroad.Based on the research findings,the researcher puts forward some suggestions for the college English teaching and learning:1.To cater for naval cadets’needs of military career development;2.To cultivate the culture motivation and enhance the long-term instrumental motivation;3.To promote the professional development of the English faculty.
