An Art Battle Field of Advancing Struggles Against Japanese Aggression and National Salvation: Research on Fine Arts Supplement of West China Daily During the War of Resistance Against Japan

以抗战时期在四川地区影响较大的《华西日报》美术副刊为研究对象,通过大量第一手史料的挖掘、整理和研究,从一个侧面反映抗战时期大后方美术与新闻媒体联手开展抗日救亡斗争的历史情况,并藉此为深入推进抗战时期大后方美术史研究作基础建设。

This paper focuses on the fine arts supplement of West China Daily which had great influence in Sichuan during the War of Resistance Against Japan.Through exploring,clearing up,and studying a large number of first-hand historical data,the paper reflects the historical situation that fine arts circle and news media jointly carried out struggles against Japanese aggression and national salvation during the War of Resistance Against Japan from one side,and establishes the basis for comprehensively and deeply promoting the research of art history in the rear area in that period.
