历史记忆的书写与契约精神的重建——评郭小东侨批题材小说《铜钵盂——侨批局演义》

《铜钵盂——侨批局演义》是一部以侨批为题材的长篇小说,也是广东作家郭小东的心血之作。他以口述历史的方式,书写了铜钵盂这个广东潮汕侨乡的家族传奇与历史记忆。通过《铜钵盂》的写作,郭小东完成了一次深情款款的精神返乡之旅,实现了他魂牵梦萦的对于乡土历史的记忆重构,通过对侨批业中传承百年的契约精神的书写,提出了中国传统文化精神重建的一种可能。

Tongboyu is a novel about Qiaopi newly published by Guo Xiaodong,a famous writer in Guangdong province.In the style of oral history,the novel records the family legend and historical memory of Tongboyu,a hometown of overseas Chaoshan people.The work stands for the writer’s spiritual home-going.It reconstructs the historical memory of his hometown,and more importantly,through writing about the contract spirit of Qiaopi industry,he puts forward a possibility of reconstructing traditional Chinese culture.
