The Influence of the Service Industry Opening on the Upgrading of China's Industrial Structure

使用中介效应检验法,系统考察了我国服务业开放对产业结构升级的影响。研究发现,我国服务业对外开放有助于产业结构升级,促进产业结构高级化;服务业对外开放的就业效应和资本效应在服务业开放对我国产业结构升级的影响中存在中介效应,而服务业对外开放的技术效应在服务业开放对我国产业结构升级的影响中的中介效应不显著;东部地区通过服务贸易进口获得的技术溢出对该地区产业结构合理化和产业结构高级化的促进作用均显著,而中西部地区通过服务贸易进口获得的技术溢出对该地区产业结构高级化的促进作用不显著。

By using the mediation effect test, this paper systematically examines the impact of China’s service industry opening on the upgrading of China’s industrial structure. This paper finds that the opening of China’s service industry not only promote the upgrading of industrial structure, but also promote the advanced change of industrial structure. Although the employment effect and capital effect of the service industry opening to the outside world has the mediation effect in the influence of the service industry opening on the upgrading of China’s industrial structure, the technology effect of the service industry opening to the outside world has not the strong mediation effect in the influence of the service industry opening on the upgrading of China’s industrial structure. The technology spillovers obtained through the import of service trade in the eastern region have a significant promoting effect on the upgrading of industrial structure and rationalization of industrial structure, but the technology spillovers obtained through the import of service trade in the central and western regions have not a significant promoting effect on the upgrading of industrial structure.
