Investigation Report of Shea Tree Cultivating in Yunnan

乳油木(Vitellaria paradora Gaertne)为山榄科(Sapotaceae)木本植物,是非洲热带稀树草原的主要树种。为当地食用脂肪的主要来源。乳油果油脂作为化妆品、功能食品和药品的原料,有广阔的应用前景。本文介绍乳油木的植物分类、分布、形态特征、生长习性、油脂化学成分及其用途。简述云南省引种乳油木的历史,现存乳油木的生长状况。对国产乳油木的品质进行分析,提出发展的建议。

Shea tree(Vitellaria paradora Gaertne)is a woody plant belong to Sapotaceae.It is the main plant in African tropical savanna and as the major source of local edible fat.As the raw material of cosmetics,functional foods and medicines,the oil and butter has a wide application prospect.In this paper,we introduce the botanical classification,distribution,morphological characteristics,growth habit,oil chemical composition of this plant and its use;briefly describe introduce planting history in Yunnan;analyze fat quality of Sheabutter which cultivated in Yunnan;putforward the development suggestion to this fat plant.
