摘要
《功夫熊猫1》是一部借助中国文化和元素的美国电影。结合该电影伊甸园翻译版本的大量语料,通过分析奈达功能对等理论下电影字幕语言层面中语音一致和语用相似的翻译特征、文化层面中流行文化和传统文化的翻译特征以及风格层面中简洁明了和风趣幽默的翻译特征,得出了奈达功能对等翻译理论有利于提高译文质量、有助于目的语读者理解源文的结论。
Kungfu Panda I is an American film with many aspects of Chinese culture and Chinese elements.Under the guidance of Nida's functional equivalence theory and based on the subtitle translation of YDY version,the translation features of phonetic coherence and pragmatic similarity in linguistic level,the translation features of popular and traditional cultures in cultural level as well as the translation features of simplification and humor in stylistic level were analyzed.Finally it was concluded that Nida's functional equivalence theory was beneficial to improve the quality of the target text and was helpful for target-readers to better understand the source text.
