刘昌与《中州名贤文表》考论

刘昌为明代著名文士,诗文理论及创作在吴中地区承上启下,具有一定的影响力。其主要贡献在于任职河南提学期间,兴复文教事业,整理元代中原地区名士诗文,编刊《中州名贤文表》三十卷。《文表》文献来源广泛,对于保存元人文献具有重要意义,同时为河南一地编纂区域总集之滥觞,对以后的相关整理活动起到了范本作用。

Liu Chang is a famous scholar in the early Ming Dynasty.His poetic and literary theories and works acted as a link between the preceding and the following in the central area of Wu.He promoted the enterprises of culture and education,collected and arranged the famous scholars and their poems and literatures in the central regions of the Yuan Dynasty,and compiled the thirty volumes of Zhongzhoumingxianwenbiao,when he was the Director-General of Education in Henan province.This book has a wide range of sources.It is not only useful for the literature preservation of the Yuan Dynasty,but also starts the regional anthology in Henan,being the model of similar literary activities.
