基于社会网络分析的台湾地区对外投资联系及其影响因素

Taiwan Foreign Investment Connections and Its Influencing Factors——Based on Social Network Analysis

在对台湾地区总体投资状况和国际直接投资绩效分析等基础上,借助社会网络分析工具对台湾地区与投资联系紧密的经济体之间的投资网络进行网络密度、程度中心性、影响因素等分析,并探讨中国大陆、美国和日本在投资网络中对台湾地区的影响。研究结果表明:台湾地区的"双向投资"一直处于严重的偏向结构状态,吸引外资的实际竞争力较弱,对外投资的竞争力超过台湾地区经济规模和实力水平;台湾地区区域投资联系网络密度不断上升,在投资网络格局中处于半边缘地位,限制度趋于下降;中国大陆、美国和日本对台湾地区在网络中地位的影响显著;最后,QAP回归结果表明,经济体的经济发展水平、地理距离和制度距离对投资网络具有一定的解释力。

On the basis of analysis of the overall investment status and performance of international direct investment and with the aid of social network analysis tools, this paper makes a series of analyses on the network density, degree of centrality, and influencing factors of the investment networks of other countries or regions that have closely connected in in-vestment with Taiwan, and, at the same time, probes into the impact of the mainland, the United States and Japan on Tai-wan in their investment network. The findings show that Taiwan’s “two-way investment” has always been in a serious bias structure, the actual competitiveness of attracting foreign investment is relatively weak, and the competitiveness of foreign investment exceeds its economic scale and actual strength level. On the other hand, the density of Taiwan regional invest-ment network is increasing but its pattern is in a semi-marginal position and the degree of restriction tends to be on the de-cline, while the influence of the mainland, the United States, and Japan on Taiwan network proves to be remarkable. Final-ly,the QAP regression results show that the economic development level,geographical distance,and institutional distance between countries (regions) have certain explanatory power to the investment network.
