摘要
生长阻滞特异性转录因子5(growth arrest-special transcript 5, GAS5)属于长链非编码RNA,位于人类基因组1号染色体上,在细胞增殖、凋亡、迁移和侵袭等生物过程中起重要调控作用.新近研究表明, GAS5在大多数肿瘤组织中低表达,其与肿瘤发生、发展及预后密切相关.探讨GAS5在肿瘤中的作用机制,有望为我们提供肿瘤诊治的新思路.本文就GAS5在肿瘤中的研究进展作一简述.
Growth arrest-special transcript 5(GAS5)is a long non-coding RNA(lncRNA),located on chromosome 1 of the human genome,and it plays an important regulatory role in biological processes such as cell proliferation,apoptosis,migration,and invasion.Recent studies have shown that GAS5 is down-expressed in most tumor tissues,which is closely related to tumorigenesis,tumor development,and prognosis.A better understanding of the pathogenetic mechanisms and biologic functions of lncRNA GAS5 may offer novel opportunities for diagnosis and therapy of tumors.In this review,we summarize the latest research progress of lncRNA GAS5 in various human tumors.
