略论道德意志与道德推理的关系

On the relationship between moral will and moral reasoning

道德推理是指道德主体运用已有的道德认识分析道德情境,作出分析、评价和选择,形成新的道德认识,确立自己的行为准则,得出道德结论的思维过程。道德意志就是人们在按照道德原则和要求进行道德抉择和行动的过程中,通过自觉地确定目的、支配行动、克服困难等表现出来的能动的实践精神,是在履行道德义务过程中所表现出来的毅力和决心。道德意志的活动过程离不开道德推理,同时道德意志又对道德推理有重要的支持作用,二者在方向上存在着一致性。

Moral reasoning refers to the rational capability with which a moral subject analyzes moral circumstances,conducts analyzing,estimating and choosing,and establishes his own standards of behaviours,and gets to moral conclusions.Moral will is just the motile spirit of practices that people show in the course of moral choices and activities in accordance to moral principles and requirements when they consciously determine their goals,dominate their activities and overcome difficulties,and is the perseverance and determination shown in the process of fulfilling moral obligations.Moral will cannot do without moral reasoning and moral reasoning requires to be supported by moral will;there is consistency in the direction for them.
