The impact of creating a forest city on the ecological and economic development

周至县位于八百里秦川腹地,南依秦岭,北临渭水;襟山带河,风光秀丽;沃野平畴,物产丰富;生态良好,区位殊要,素以"金周至"著称于世。近年来,在十八大精神指引下,周至县委、县政府聚力发展,以"创森、绿色、生态"为三大抓手,积极推进西安市创建国家森林城市各项工作,国家森林城市评价5大类40项指标全部达标。

Zhouzhi County is located in the hinterland of Qinchuan in Babaili,south of Qinling Mountain,north of Lishui;Lushan River with beautiful scenery;Woyeping domain,rich in products;good ecology,special location,known as“Golden Zhouzhi”.In recent years,under the guidance of the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Zhouzhi County Party Committee and the county government have concentrated on the development,and have taken the“creative forest,green and ecological”as the three major tasks,and actively promoted the work of creating a national forest city in Xi’an,the national forest city.All the 40 indicators in the 5 categories were evaluated.
