Analysis of Front Windshield Inclination of SUV

为确定新车型概念开发阶段前风挡倾角的角度范围,该文基于积累的SUV车型数据,研究前风挡倾角与整车外型的关系。主要研究了整车的车身形式以及C点与前轮中心相对位置的关系,并基于分析结果给出新车型开发时前风挡倾角的角度范围。结果表明,SUV车型的前风挡倾角一般在30～60°的范围内。为新车型开发时前风挡倾角的确定提供了参考依据。

In order to determine the angle range of the front windshield inclination in the conceptual development stage of new vehicle type,this paper studies the relationship between the front windshield inclination and the vehicle appearance based on the accumulated benchmark data of SUV,by studing the body structure,and the relative position between the C point and the front wheel center.The angle range of the front windshield inclination is givenbased on the analysis results.The results show that the front windshield inclination of SUV is generally in the range of 30~60°.It provides a reference for the determination of the front windshield inclination in the development of new models.
