摘要
法尔康盆地位于委内瑞拉北部近海地区,面积约13000 km2。法尔康盆地拥有较有利的油气远景。文章研究了盆地的断裂构造特征及构造演化,认为法尔康盆地区域构造呈北东(近东-西)向、北西向展布,盆地可进一步划分Agua Salaada次盆、东法尔康次盆等5个次级构造单元。盆地经历了中生代的裂谷构造(161.3 Ma-135 Ma)、白垩纪被动陆缘(131.8 Ma-65 Ma)、古新世-中始新世的挤压构造(60.5 Ma-38.6 Ma)、晚始新世-早更新世的拉分构造(38.6 Ma-3.4 Ma)、上新世-今的构造反转(3.4 Ma-.01 Ma)等5个演化阶段。研究结果和认识对盆地进一步相关地质研究有重要参考意义。
The Falcon basin is located near the northern coast of Venezuela and covers an area of about 13000 km2.The Falcon basin has favorable oil and gas prospects.In this paper,the fault structural characteristics and tectonic evolution of the basin have been studied.It is considered that the regional structure of the Falcon basin is in NE(near East-West)and NW direction,and the basin can be further divided into five secondary tectonic units,such as Agua Salaada subbasin and East Falcon subbasin.The basin experienced Mesozoic rift tectonics(161.3 Ma-135 Ma),Cretaceous passive continental margin(131.8 Ma-65 Ma),and Miocene compressional structure(60.5 Ma-38.6Ma),the late Eocene to early Pleistocene(38.6 Ma-3.4 Ma)and Pliocene to present(3.4 Ma-.01 Ma)tectonic inversion 5 stages of evolution.The results and understanding of the study are of great significance for further relevant geological research in the basin.
