Test of Comparative Effect of Three Different Silage Feeds on Fattening Cattle and Sheep

巨菌草引进种植示范项目是福州市与定西市东西部扶贫协作重点项目之一,为研究巨菌草在定西地区种植的适应性和在畜牧业生产中的实际效果,2017年定西市渭源县首次引进种植巨菌草。为了评定青贮巨菌草饲喂价值,我们对青贮巨菌草与青贮全株玉米、青贮饲用甜高粱进行了饲喂育肥牛、育肥羊对比试验,初步探讨青贮巨菌草的饲喂效果,为下一步推广应用巨菌草提供依据。

The demonstration project of introducing and planting Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin is one of the key projects of Fuzhou’s and Dingxi city’s east-west poverty alleviation cooperation.In order to study the adaptability of planting Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin in Dingxi area and its actual effect in animal husbandry production,Weiyuan county of Dingxi introduced and planted Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin for the first time in 2017.In order to evaluate the feeding value of Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin,we conducted a comparative experiment of feeding fattening cattle and sheep with Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin,whole corn and sweet sorghum,and preliminarily discussed the feeding effect of silage Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin,providing the basis for further popularization and application of Pennisetum giganteum z.x.lin.
