2018年12月7日至12月8日在华南理工大学召开的第23届中国民居建筑学术年会暨中国民居学术会议三十周年纪念大会是一次学术交流盛会。与会专家学者围绕"民居文化传承与建筑创新研究"这一主题与"乡村振兴战略与传统聚落(民居)的保护与更新"、"传统聚落(民居)的营建智慧与文化传承"、"传统聚落(民居)研究的学术传承与发展创新"三个分议题展开交流,集中展示了中国民居建筑学术研究的最新成果,反映了民居建筑学术研究的新动向。

The 23 rd Chinese Vernacular Architecture Academic Annual Conference & The 30 th Academic Conference on Chinese Vernacular Architecture, held at South China University of Technology from December 7, 2018 to December 8, 2018, was a grand academic exchange event. The experts and scholars at the conference exchanged their thoughts and ideas on the theme of "Vernacular Architecture Culture Inheritance and Architecture Innovation Research" and three subthemes of "Rural Revitalization Strategy and the Protection and Renovation of Traditional Settlements(Vernacular Architecture)","Construction Wisdom and Culture Inheritance of Traditional Settlements(Vernacular Architecture)", and "Academic Inheritance and Development & Innovation of Traditional Settlements(Vernacular Architecture)". This conference demonstrated the latest academic achievements of Chinese vernacular architecture research in a concentrated manner and reflected the new trend of academic research on vernacular architecture.
