美国顶尖公立大学图书馆捐赠服务的调查与分析

Investigation and Analysis on Donation Service Management of American Top Public University Libraries

论文借鉴美国顶尖公立大学图书馆争取社会捐赠以促进自身馆藏建设的方法和手段,以期为我国大学图书馆扩充经费来源、缓解经费紧张、丰富馆藏并促进馆藏利用等方面提供有益的帮助和启示。论文根据美国公立大学经费来源与我国高校运行资金的主体均是政府拨款的特点,选出8所美国顶尖公立大学图书馆的捐赠接收服务作为调查对象,对其所提供的捐赠项目、捐赠方式、捐赠政策、捐赠匹配、捐赠回馈及其他相关服务内容进行调查分析。

In order to provide help and enlightenment for our university libraries on expanding financial resources,easing fund shortage,enriching and utilizing collections,this paper draw lessons from the ways and means of American top public university libraries in striving for social donation to promote their own collection development.According to the fact that government allocation is the main financial resource of American public universities and China’s universities,this paper takes the donation reception service of 8 American top public university libraries as the objects of investigation,and analyses the donation items,the ways of donation,donation policy,donation matching,donation feedback,and other relevant services.
