民国时期宁夏省政府的灾害预防措施

The Ningxia Provincial Government Disaster Prevention Measures during the Period of the Republic of China

民国时期,宁夏灾害频发,影响民众生活生产。宁夏省政府组织开垦荒地,扩大农田数量;发展水利,增加农田产量;植树造林,改善气候条件;储粮备荒、办理平粜;运用科技手段减少病虫害,举办水稻灌溉需水测量试验;设立气象站;等等。这在一定程度上降低了灾害带来的损失。

During the Period of the Republic of China,there were frequent disasters to influence the people’s production and life.The Ningxia provincial government had organized people to reclaim wasteland to enlarge the farmland,developed water conservancy to increase the crop yields,and had done afforestation to change the climatic conditions.In the meantime,the government had laid in reserves and controlled the trade.By means of science and technology,the pests and diseases had been reduced and so on.All these efforts had reduced losses making by the disasters to a certain extent.
