旅游城市景区介绍语的翻译研究——以珠海为例

Study on the Translation of Tourist Introductions in Scenic Spots: A Case Study of Zhuhai

素有"百岛之市"美称的珠海近年来越来越受到中外游客的青睐。随着珠海歌剧院的建立、港珠澳大桥的开通,珠海日益成为国内外游客旅游的首选之地。珠海自建立经济特区以来,经济贸易等各方面都得到大程度的发展,旅游业从无到有,从有到作为珠海的支柱产业,正吸引着越来越多的国内外游客。如何规范景区介绍语及相应的英语译文,对于吸引中外游客,规范旅游业的用语有着巨大的推动作用。本文选取珠海最受欢迎的五大景区的介绍语和相应的英语译文为文本,运用韩礼德的系统功能语法理论,通过对景区介绍语和翻译译文进行及物性分析,试图得出语言翻译方面的规律,以期发现其译文的准确性和精确性。

Known as the"hundred island city",tourists are more and more popular in Zhuhai.With the establishment of the Zhuhai Opera House and the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge,Zhuhai has increasingly become the preferred place for tourists at home and abroad.Since the establishment of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone,economic and trade and other aspects have been greatly developed.Tourism,as the pillar industry of Zhuhai,is attracting more and more domestic and foreign tourists.How to standardize the introduction of scenic spots and the corresponding English translation plays a great role in attracting tourists and regulating tourism.Based on Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar theory,this paper tries to find out the rules of language translation by analyzing the transitivity of introductions and translations of the five most popular scenic spots in order to find out the accuracy and accuracy of their translations.
