This paper discusses the development status and technical characteristics of the Internet of Things standard NB-IoT,focusing on the three steps of the evolution of GSM to NB-IOT and FDD,that is,replanting the frequency of GSM to NB-IoT and FDD,and transforming the old equipment of GSM into equipment adapted to NB and FDD.Finally,the unified deployment of NB-IoT and FDD is proposed with engineering examples.
