In the 40 years of reform and opening-up, China's petroleum & petrochemical industry has greatly changed and scored notable achievements in fast expanding oil & gas production and processing capacity, bringing industry system more in line with international business practices, shifting management mechanism away from planned economy to market economy, entering world-advanced R&D ranks, and boosting competitiveness in world market.
