Objective To study the strategy for establishing a first-class international English journal of military medicine.Methods The practice and experiences in establishing《Military Medical Research》were summarized in aspects of highlighting its features,improving its academic level,expanding its service,and integrating its human resources.Results The distinctive features,top academic level,excellent service and high literacy editors of《Military Medical Research》have aroused wide interests of domestic and foreign colleagues,and increased its international influence and competitive power.Conclusion Distinctive features,top academic level,excellent service and high literacy editors are the effective strategy and method to establish a first-class international English journal of military medicine.
