南社巨擘柳亚子与宁调元的交谊

The Friendship between Nanshe Giants LIU Yazi and NING Tiaoyuan

柳亚子与宁调元,同为中国近代杰出诗人和南社社友。清末,宁调元陷狱时,柳真情关切。南社创立时,柳亚子邀宁参与合作。民初,宁邀柳同编《民声报》。南社成员周实、阮式因革命遇害,宁、柳协力昭雪。柳亚子因与社友意见不合,一度宣布脱离南社,宁调元参与挽留柳氏回社续任南社主任之职。"二次革命"失败,宁调元遇难。柳致悼诗,编辑宁氏遗作出版。柳、宁二氏同具革命情怀,他们结下诗文情谊,也显现了南社的历史光彩。

LIU Yazi and NING Tiaoyuan were both outstanding poets and Nanshe members in modern Chinese history.LIU Yazi offered his genuine concern during NING Tiaoyuan’s imprisonment in the late Qing Dynasty.LIU Yazi invited NING Tiaoyuan to join Nanshe and cooperate with each other when Nanshe was first founded.In the early years of the Republic of China,NING Tiaoyuan invited LIU Yazi to co-edit Minsheng Daily.NING Tiaoyuan and LIU Yazi worked together to redress ZHOU Shi and RUAN Shi’s injustice after they two were killed for participating revolutionary activities.LIU Yazi once announced his departure from Nanshe because of his disagreement with some Nanshe members.NING Tiaoyuan tried his best to retain LIU Yazi and to resume his role of Nanshe director.NING Tiaoyuan was killed due to the failure of the Second Revolution.LIU Yazi composed mourning poems,edited and published NING Tiaoyuan’s legacy works.LIU Yazi and NING Tiaoyuan shared profound revolutionary emotions and literary friendships,which is also a reflection of Nanshe’s historical glory.
