Gas is an important factor affecting the safety production of coal mining enterprises. Frequent gas accidents affect the overall development of coal industry. This paper briefly introduced the causes of gas accident, and put forward that maintaining good ventilation and reasonable distribution of underground air volume can effectively improve the prevention ability of gas accid-ent. At the same time, raising the awareness of safety prevention, adopting strict management measures and introducing advanced prevention and control technology and related equipment can help eliminate the hidden danger of gas safety and ensure the safety of coal well production.
