民国时期河南省地质调查所探究

Exploration of Henan Geological Survey During Era of the Republic of China

河南省地质调查所成立于1923年,是民国时期成立最早的省级地质调查所之一。民国时期,河南省地质调查所经历了初创、快速发展、受阻、缓慢恢复发展的曲折过程。河南省地质调查所内部组织制度较为完善,职员也具备较高的专业素质和技能,但是,由于经费短缺的缘故,其工作的开展受到了一定阻碍。从1931年～1937年,河南省地质调查所对河南省主要矿产及矿业进行大规模调查,在调查后又绘制了大量图表,并进行了必要的钻探工作。河南省地质调查所的调查研究工作,有助于振兴工业、巩固国防、增加地方财源、改善民生及规避不必要的损失。

The Henan Geological Survey was established in 1923,which was one of the earliest provincial geological surveys in the Republic of China.During that era,the Henan Geological Survey experienced a tortuous process of pioneer creation,rapid development,obstruction and slow recovery and development.Its internal organizational system was relatively perfect,and the professional quality and skills of staff were relatively high.However,due to the shortage of funds,its routine work was hindered to a certain degree.From 1931 to 1937,the Henan geological survey conducted a large scale investigation of major minerals and mining in the province,and then a large number of charts were drawn and some necessary drilling work was carried out.Its formidable and serious investigation and research work helped revitalize the provincial industry,consolidate national defense,increase local financial resources and improve people′s livelihood as well as avoid unnecessary losses.
