Objective To investigate the effect of intermittent oral to gastric tube feeding on swallowing function, nutritional status and quality of life in stroke patients with dysphagia. Methods To select 180 cases of patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke who were treated in our hospital from June 2016 to November 2017,and they were divided into observation group and control group with the same number of patients randomly. Both groups were treated with the same basic treatment and nursing. The control group was given nasogastric tube nutrition support, while the observation group was given intermittent oral to gastric tube tube feeding for nutritional support. The swallowing function, nutritional status and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the swallowing function of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total protein, albumin and hemoglobin levels and quality of life were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Intermittent oral to gastric tube feeding can improve the swallowing function and nutritional status of stroke patients significantly.Meanwhile,it can improve their quality of life.
