The definition of reverse angle is introduced,and a fault diagnosis method for reciprocating compressor based on piston rod load analysis is proposed.The lubrication state of the cross pin and bushing is judged by the reverse angle and the force curve of the piston rod.The working state of the valve is analyzed according to the variation of the tension and pressure on the piston rod.The validity of this method is verified by a diagnosis example.
