Xiangyang is a city with glorious revolutionary history. During the long revolutionary wartime, numerous red marks had been left, which formed a rich red culture. Telling good Xiangyang story and inheriting the red heritage is an important measure to carry forward Xiangyang red culture in the new era. Many symbolic historical facts and relics of the red culture of Xiangyang, especially those related to “Xiangfan Campaign”, have historical and realistic cultural connotations and values. They need to be further explored and analyzed for a better construction of “Cultural Xiangyang”.
