摘要
Students will be motivated and interested in learning English when they get the autonomous learning ability(ALA).Through surveys on some teachers of Qujing Normal University(QJNU),a provincial university,it finds that 1)it is necessary and possible to cultivate students’ability of autonomous learning;2)the problem for most teachers is not lack of ideas but lack of action.This paper provides some suggestions,such as introduction of minority culture in Yunnan,which will contribute to the cultivation of students’ALA in college English.
