那桐为晚清十分重要的政治人物,历任多种要职,且经历过不少重大历史事件。光绪十六年(1890),他效仿其叔父那铭安开始写日记,止于民国十四年(1925)。因那桐城府极深且谨小慎微,故其日记所载往往语焉不详。文章参阅其他史料对光绪十六年至光绪二十四年时期《那桐日记》部分内容作笺注,以便读者更好地了解日记中所载内容。

Na Tong was a very important political figure in the late Qing Dynasty,seved several important positions,and experienced many major historical events.Na Tong began to write diary following his uncle Na Ming-an in 1890,and ended in 1925.Because Na Tong was very cute and cautious,so his diary was often unclear.This article commented on Na Tong Diary by referring other historical materials,in order to help people understand the contents of the diary.
