摘要
本研究通过实证方式,聚焦英国中医诊所口译员的言语和非言语行为,结合话语分析方法,考察口译员和医生如何使用各种语言形式建立、协调、争取医患互动中的权力地位和权威地位。本文认为,中医医疗口译是复杂的沟通模式,医生及口译员之间存在合作,同时又相互竞争,在医护人员和口译员与患者的互动过程中通过语义沟通,构建了其专业范畴及其专业权威。
This empirical study focuses on the interpreter's verbal and non-verbal action of Chinese Herbal Shop in the UK.The paper investigates how the interpreter and the doctor build,negotiate and compete for their authoritative status through various language forms in doctor-patient interaction.We find the Chinese traditional medical interpreting has a rather complicated communicative mode.The doctor and the interpreter cooperate,compete for and construct their respective professional authority through various semantic interactions.
