江阴市深入实施长江大保护的实践

Implementation of the Yangtze River Protection Campaign in Jiangyin City

江阴市以江苏省水生态文明城市建设试点为契机,通过大力推进"退城还江"、积极实施生态建设、切实开展控源截污、不断优化日常监管等举措,深入实施长江大保护工作。在总结经验的基础上,提出了持续深化宣传教育、严格落实保护计划、深入开展精准管服、加速推进"移动河管"等改进措施,以期进一步增强长江保护力度,确保到2020年沿江呈现清水绿岸、鱼翔浅底的和谐美景。

Along with pilot project implementation for ecological civilization cities in Jiangsu Province, effective measures has been taken in the Jiangyin City such as“giving spaces to rivers”, control of pollution sources and strict routine monitoring and supervision. In order to reinforce protection of the Yangtze River, it is proposed to strengthen public education, initiate protection plans and actions, and provide targeted services and supervision with mobile teams and facilities, so as to ensure that the rivers are clean and the number of fishes are recovered by the year of 2020.
